flexible payment options ,sensors for classification.

Worked on a project of Railtel Corporation of India Limited for Broadband long haul telecom
network- II.
This project comprised of “System design, detailed engineering of OFC based digital backbone
communication system including supply, installation, testing and commissioning of STM- 16/ STM-4
SDH ADD/DROP MUXES and other associated equipment of the system and network management
system”.
(Jun’ 2003- Feb’ 2004) with NTS (An Omzest Group Company of Muscat (Oman) as
Telecommunication Engineer (Project leader).
↔ Managed the Rehabilitation & cutover of the Outside Plant Network from Qurum Exchange to Al-
Khuwair Exchange & Expansion of the OSP Network at Al-Khuwair area in Muscat Governorate.
Following activities were performed.
a) Heading OSP Planning activities, Cost modeling and Cost analysis, budgeting and Capex
generation. Rollout plans for OFC and Copper distribution wire line. Co-ordination with OSP
design and other NI planning managers. Final approval of ‘As-Built’ documentation for OSP
Principal Accountabilities. OSP Material standards & specifications. Interaction with vendors
and data/price collection, update master list for Capex. Carrier Service Areas and Distribution
Service Areas layout/CSA maps
b) Managing & Liaised with OMANTEL (Muscat) and BT teleconsult (Registered Office,
Newgate Street, London) for project related activities. Co-ordination with Omantel & BT
Teleconsult for site layouts and at the same time approval of site instructions.
c) Securing of permission from Municipality & R.O.P. Detailed survey of the site, preparation of
DBOQ, approval of DBOQ, securing of permission. Deciding cable route plan including duct
structure, Copper cable distribution, final location of handholes /manholes, cabinets, DPs,
thrust boring location, road cutting details, preparing implementation schedules & monitoring
the progress on the same. Close co-ordination with vendors and implementation group.
d) Primary/secondary cable cut-over T jointing, testing cables, renumbering. Removal of T joints,
final testing & acceptance testing.
Jan’ 1997- Jun’ 2003 with Himachal Futuristic Communication Limited ( International
Division), Gurgaon. Last designated as Assistant Manager (Projects)
↔ Responsible for outside and indoor plant activities in execution of fiber optic transmission
network, (knowledge of specification, type of protection provided, general information regarding
specification of different material utilized in construction of OFC outside plant. OFC Cable A/T
(Different meters required for OFC Cable A/T’s ), OFC System Acceptance testing (various types
of meters required for OFC A/T). Knowledge of limits for OFC Systems, Bit rate, Offset and no of
channels.
↔ Copper cable fault locator used to locate several types of faults in 4 Quad cable such as short
circuit, joint circuit sheath fault, low insulation fault etc.
↔ Hands on experience on different test equipment related to fiber networking & testing- like Power
meter, optical-loss test kits, optical fiberscope, optical fiber identifier, visual fault locator, optical
calibrated light source, optical return-loss test kit, fiber-optic talk set, optical attenuator, OTDR ,
variable attenuator, DTA set (Digital transmission analyzer), SDH Analyzer etc.
↔ Knowledge of operation of different types of blowing machines, OTDR & Splicing machines
↔ Knowledge of all optical network and devices (Functional modules like Optical add drop
multiplexers & optical cross connect) WDM, optical couplers, optical amplifiers.
↔ Inspection & tests. Acceptance tests of OSP includes (Conduit systems, Primary cables tests,
secondary cables tests, fiber optic cable tests like- Identification, Splice loss & end to end
attenuation). Various field tests related to copper cables like wire map test, length test, attenuation
test & near and crosstalk test.
Instrumental in the successful execution of the following:
A) Managed a broadband network project (copper and fiber access) for Tata
Teleservices Ltd, at Delhi – Okhla Phase III and Mohan Co-operative RSU.
B) Managed a feeder & Customer service area project in different area of Hyderabad
(Gowliguda- Charminar- Feeder route, M.J Market Concentrator- CSA route) and
Vishakapatnam (MVP Colony to Chinna waltair- Feeder route, Velampeta
Concentrator – CSA route) for Tata Teleservices Ltd. Which is now joint venture of
Japan-based telecom operator NTT DoCoMo (DoCoMo).
C) Steered maintenance activities of Fiber Optic Transmission network for Tata
Teleservices Ltd. between Hyderabad-Suryapeth-Vijaywada-Vishakapatnam in A.P and
Tata Cellular Ltd between Hyderabad-Suryapeth-Vijaywada-Nellore-Ongole in A.P.
D) Constructed a 140 Km Fiber optic transmission route between Tirupati to Naidupeta in
the State of Andhra Pradesh for Tata Teleservices Ltd in Andhra Pradesh.
E) Worked on a Fiber-Optic Transmission backbone link & Copper access network
project for providing basic services/broadband facilities for HFCL Connect in Punjab,
which is now the part of Reliance Industries.
F) Set up a Fibre-Optic Transmission backbone link for Shyam in Rajasthan which is
now joint venture of Sistema which is a Russia based telecom company. Responsible for
Bhiwadi to Ajmer (Around 325 K.M) of route. They became the first new mobile operator
to get a pan-India start-up spectrum to start their mobile service operations in the
country.
MTS, the mobile telephony brand of Sistema- Shyam Teleservices (SSTL) had been
conferred National Telecom Award for being the fastest growing data operator in
India.
G) Set up a Fiber-Optic Transmission link for RCPO (88 Kms.) (Radar & Communication
Project Office), for the Indian Air Force at Delhi including fiber optic equipments,
FDF,DDF etc.
H) Set up Fiber-Optic Transmission Network for the Eastern Railway in Bihar (Danapur-
Jhajha Section of Eastern Railway) for the Indian Railways. The Project covered Supply,
installation, testing and commissioning of Optical Fiber Communication system along-with
4 Quad telecom Cable & Copper cable for providing communication facilities. Designed
Optical Fibre Communication System with special emphasis on power link budget. Total
31 stations were covered between Danapur-Jhajha.
Responsible for outside and indoor plant activities in execution of fiber optic transmission
network, Coordination with vendors like Nokia in installations of their fibre optic
equipments. It was a challenging project for Indian Railways. Specially (Mokama- Kiul)
section was very much difficult in terms of notorious area, cable theft and damages in all
the routes.( Mokama- kiul )section was most difficult to execute due to long bridges of all
types (Long Arch bridges, Girder bridges, etc). commutation was difficult.
I) Set up Fiber-Optic Transmission Network for the South-Eastern Railway in Bihar now
Jharkhand (Ilu-Muri-Barkakhana Section) for the Indian Railways.
J) Worked for sterling cellular Ltd- Essar Cell Phone- Hutch in Jalandhar, Amritsar
and Ludhina in 1997. Fiber-Optic Transmission Network was set up between MSC to
BSC and Installation of HFCL ML 33 , Optimux equipment was done.
K) Fault rectification of Fiber-Optic Transmission link of sterling cellular Ltd- Essar
Cell Phone- Hutch was done between Okhla phase-III and Chandralok building in
new delhi in 1999.

1995- December 1996).
Technical Teachers Training Institutes (T.T.T.I, Sector-26, Chandigarh)-- Worked as a
research/project associate . (June 1995- November 1995).
1) Worked on a project "Digital Fault Diagnosis" using ADDA-12 Card in QBasic on PC-286.

3) Organised various training program on MS-DOS, Wordstar, and Dbase-III for teachers from

Worked as hardware support engineer. Machine included 32 channel EEG, lie detector, etc.

EEG Machine, Tele ECG, Patient Monitoring system, X- Ray Machine, C- Arm, Biochemistry
Analyzer etc. in the Indian Subcontinent. Polyrite, the first Indian Polygraph was developed within the

GULBARGA DIST.:Gulbarga,KARNATAKA-585102. Poojya Dodappa Appa
(P.D.A) College of Engineering is one of the Premier Institutes of Karnataka
State affiliated to Gulbarga University. PDA college of Engineering was
established in the year 1958. One of the unique features of Our college is, it is
the First College in Karnataka State to start the Electronics and Communication
Engineering branch way back in the year 1967, to join NIT Surathkal and IISc,
Bangalore. Also, it is the only college in the state and one among the three
colleges across the country, offering a course in Ceramic and Cement
Technology.

(February 2004 – April 2004) with Hindustan Teleprinter Limited as Deputy Project Manager (Formerly Hindustan Teleprinter Ltd., A Govt.of India Undertaking) Worked on a project of Railtel Corporation of India Limited for Broadband long haul telecom network- II. This project comprised of “System design, detailed engineering of OFC based digital backbone communication system including supply, installation, testing and commissioning of STM- 16/ STM-4 SDH ADD/DROP MUXES and other associated equipment of the system and network management system”. (Jun’ 2003- Feb’ 2004) with NTS (An Omzest Group Company of Muscat (Oman) as Telecommunication Engineer (Project leader). ↔ Managed the Rehabilitation & cutover of the Outside Plant Network from Qurum Exchange to Al- Khuwair Exchange & Expansion of the OSP Network at Al-Khuwair area in Muscat Governorate. Following activities were performed. a) Heading OSP Planning activities, Cost modeling and Cost analysis, budgeting and Capex generation. Rollout plans for OFC and Copper distribution wire line. Which is now joint venture of Japan-based telecom operator NTT DoCoMo (DoCoMo). C) Steered maintenance activities of Fiber Optic Transmission network for Tata Teleservices Ltd. between Hyderabad-Suryapeth-Vijaywada-Vishakapatnam in A.P and Tata Cellular Ltd between Hyderabad-Suryapeth-Vijaywada-Nellore-Ongole in A.P. D) Constructed a 140 Km Fiber optic transmission route between Tirupati to Naidupeta in the State of Andhra Pradesh for Tata Teleservices Ltd in Andhra Pradesh. E) Worked on a Fiber-Optic Transmission backbone link & Copper access network project for providing basic services/broadband facilities for HFCL Connect in Punjab, which is now the part of Reliance Industries. F) Set up a Fibre-Optic Transmission backbone link for Shyam in Rajasthan which is now joint venture of Sistema which is a Russia based telecom company. Responsible for Bhiwadi to Ajmer (Around 325 K.M) of route. They became the first new mobile operator to get a pan-India start-up spectrum to start their mobile service operations in the country. MTS, the mobile telephony brand of Sistema- Shyam Teleservices (SSTL) had been conferred National Telecom Award for being the fastest growing data operator in India. G) Set up a Fiber-Optic Transmission link for RCPO (88 Kms.) (Radar & Communication Project Office), for the Indian Air Force at Delhi including fiber optic equipments, FDF,DDF etc. H) Set up Fiber-Optic Transmission Network for the Eastern Railway in Bihar (Danapur- Jhajha Section of Eastern Railway) for the Indian Railways. The Project covered Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Optical Fiber Communication system along-with 4 Quad telecom Cable & Copper cable for providing communication facilities.   • 7. Optical Fibre Communication System with special emphasis on power link budget. Total 31 stations were covered between Danapur-Jhajha. Responsible for outside and indoor plant activities in execution of fiber optic transmission network, Coordination with vendors like Nokia in installations of their fibre optic equipments. It was a challenging project for Indian Railways. Specially (Mokama- Kiul) section was very much difficult in terms of notorious area, cable theft and damages in all the routes.( Mokama- kiul )section was most difficult to execute due to long bridges of all types (Long Arch bridges, Girder bridges, etc). commutation was difficult. I) Set up Fiber-Optic Transmission Network for the South-Eastern Railway in Bihar now Jharkhand (Ilu-Muri-Barkakhana Section) for the Indian Railways. K) Fault rectification of Fiber-Optic Transmission link of sterling cellular Ltd- Essar Cell Phone- Hutch was done between Okhla phase-III and Chandralok building in new delhi in 1999.
