• Its usually electronic communication that works
on digital codes.
• To discrete states of “0” and “1” for
representing arbitrary data.
• To interpret binary digital data as information
and thus represent the predominating class of
digital information processing machines.

5. Definition of the Variables
• Digital: The word digital comes from the
Latin word digit and digitus (the Latin word for
finger), as fingers.
 Primarily, It Used with new physical
communications media, such as satellite and
fiber optic transmission
Ex-modem is used to convert analog phone
signals to digital information for a computer
and vice-versa.

high growth rate of 40% over the last five (5)
years .
