anticipated when any mother in general have
to understeand how she should better
maintain body condition in order to smooth
pregnancy ang vetal development in the
womb.
Normaly, the mother experienced weight gain
during pregnancy period. Optimal weight gain
in pregnancy will impact both labor and

7. Acording to the National Academy of Science,
variations in maternal weight gain depending on
maternal weight before pregnancy. In particular
can be known by assessing body mass index
(BMI)
The following recommendations are suggested for
the increase in total body weight in pregnant
women based on body weight before pregnancy.
