Children’s Race for Life is a new initiative
that needs your help.
The UNICEF Children’s Race for Life is
a fun event that is being held in your
school. We want you to take part in the
event and help poor children around the
world.
Fundraising
To take part in the race, your class must
aim to raise 800 20c coins over four weeks.
Each 20c coin you raise saves a child’s
life.Try help your class raise as many
20c coins and save as many lives as you
can.
There are lots of ways you can raise the
20 cents. Check out the list overleaf for
some ideas.
The Race
On the final Friday of fundraising a relay
race will take place where your class will
compete against other classes in the
UNICEF Children’s Race for Life. The
winners will receive an exclusive
homework voucher and everyone will
receive a goody bag. You will also be
entered into a huge raffle of over 100
fantastic prizes such as cinema tickets,
video games and vouchers.
You can make a big difference in the lives of
poor children around the world by taking
part in this exciting event.
