5. Current Situation
The information about the work of the
decision making bodies doesn‘t reach every
interested ESN member
Information flow depends only on NRs
• Countries without NRs aren‘t informed at
all
• What about NRs who do not attend the
meeting? Do they send reports to the
sections?
6. Current situation
The CNR controls and knows about the
Board, but nobody knows about the work of
the CNR
Same situation for CND meetings and AGM
• It is up to the NR to inform the sections
about the outcomes of each meeting
7. Current situation
Minutes of statutory meetings
• are very long, detailed and contain a lot of
personal statements
• are corrected and sent out very late
• What about NRs who could not attend the meeting?
• are only accessible for NRs and Board
• only they have access to the info-centre and CNR
mailing list
9. Idea
Compile a report after each statutory
meeting
• Short, concise, informative
• Contains the outcomes of the important
decisions and discussions
Send it to the sections to keep them
informed about the work of the decision
making bodies of ESN
10. Intention
Make the decision making and the work of
the international level more transparent
• Sections feel more involved
• Maybe more feedback from the sections?
Make the life of an NR easier
• Save one report per meeting!
• If you are absent, you will get a summary in
time!
12. Proposal I
„The Coordinating Team of each CNR/CND
meeting has to write a summary of the
meeting and send it to the sections mailing
list the day after the meeting ended.“
13. Proposal II
„The Chair of the AGM and the Board have to
write a summary of the meeting and send
it to the sections mailing list one week
after the meeting ended.“
