6. HISTORY
Adamjee Insurance Company was incorporated on September 28, 1960.
Adamjee received it certificate of commencement on 30 November 1960.
Company issued its first policy on 5 December 1960.
In 1974 the Life Insurance Division of the company was nationalized.
In 1980 Adamjee launched the UAE Operations.
In 2004 Mansha Group managed to wrest control of Adamjee Insurance
Company.
7. HISTORY
In 2008 Adamjee received “BEST INSURER OF INNOVATION
AWARD” by Euro Money and “BEST RISK MANAGEMENT
AWARD” by Pakistan Guarantee Export Corporation Limited.
In 2009 Adamjee received “BRAND OF THE YEAR AWARD” for
Marine Insurance and “TAX PAYER EXCELLENCE AWARD” by
Federal Board of Revenue.
8. HISTORY
On May 27, 2010 Adamjee signed an exclusive Bank assurance
partnership agreement with KASB Bank.
In 2011 Adamjee received the consumer choice award for “BEST
GENERAL INSURANCE COMPANY”
The company commenced operations with a paid- up capital of Rupees
2.5 MILLION which has grown to Rupees 1.4 BILLION as on 31
December 2012. Till date 73 branches are functioning
