together. Computers enable to combine the media and can be stored for reuse.
Multimedia is widely used in entertainment and education.
ABC Company is designing a multimedia CD/DVD-ROM application for promotion and
marketing of its services. It contains all the details about the company such as history
it’s international reputation and list of all the facilities provided such as video and vcr,
sports and recreational facilities, restaurant and the management support.
It also includes the contact details, location details and relevant maps.
The company mainly targets international students and would also like virtual tours of
the information in the CD/DVD.

8. Executive Summary
This project is an interactive multimedia product aimed at a young
adolescent (11-15) market. It involves application for promotion and
marketing of its services. It contains all the details about the company such
as history it’s international reputation and list of all the facilities provided
such as video and vcr, sports and recreational facilities, restaurant and the
management support.
The client has no experience in multimedia writing. It will contain narrative
elements of excitement and the pleasures of travel to different lands,
meeting people from different cultures. It is a mixture of entertainment and
education for both this age group and possibly their parents. The time
frame is important as we need to get the product to the market by
Christmas (four months time). It is expected that the product will generate
income for the client.
