Rosanne Foust has held several important positions in the municipal government of Redwood City, California, including those of mayor, vice mayor and city council member, and currently again serves as Vice Mayor. In addition, Rosanne Foust seeks to enhance regional collaboration as past chair and current board member of the San Mateo County Transportation Authority as well as the President and CEO of the San Mateo County Economic Development Association.

2.  Rosanne Foust has held several important

3.  Active for over 60 years, the San Mateo
County Economic Development Association
SAMCEDA) works in three major areas:
business, economy, and policy. On the policy
front, the organization seeks to give voice to
the concerns of the business community in
federal, state and local political
environments.

4.  SAMCEDA’s areas of concern include the
California Environmental Quality Act. The group
in collaboration with other Bay Area partners
supports State Senate Bill SB 1451, introduced by
Sens. Jerry Hill, D-San Mateo, and Richard Roth,
D-Riverside, which seeks to make very moderate,
but important changes to reduce document
dumping while preserving very important public
participation opportunities.
In addition, SAMCEDA supports CA Forward, a
group advocating for budget reform and
accountable governance in the state.
