9. Major Projects
LOWES HOME IMPROVEMENT
My most recent position at Lowes, I successfully
completed the replacement of their incentive
compensation application with a Cloud vendor called
Beqom. As well as creating a new, customized
application that replace the manual processes of the
Garnishment department. Both of these applications
required integration with Lowes PeopleSoft system.
10. Major Projects
TIME WARNER CABLE
At Time Warner Cable, I was supervising some great
and strong project managers for Time Warner Cable.
In the Infrastructure Department, my job title for
Time Warner Cable was supervisor of project delivery.
I was responsible for not only resource manager of 3
FTE and 3 contract PM’s, but I was administrator of
our project and portfolio management tool for all of
infrastructure job functions plus project managed
several programs and projects and oversaw the other
PM’s programs and projects.
11. Major Projects
TIME WARNER CABLE (continued)
While I was there, I successfully completed the
migration of an acquired company (NaviSite), to our
network. The program work streams centered on
circuit migrations, telephony systems, network
systems, servers, and desktops. This program involved
9 different locations. This included India and Great
Britain as TWC’s first international networks.
12. Major Projects
PASCO COUNTY GOVERNMENT
At Pasco County, I had to develop relationships with
each county entity for the web portal project. Each had
special requirements for the development of their
application programs or portlets. My involvement with
integrating different applications through the BPM
project was especially fulfilling as we needed to get the
proper requirements to develop the web services per
each major application.
13. Major Projects
HOME SHOPPING NETWORK
AT HSN, it was a little bit of everything with gathering
sales data from a data warehouse, mainframe sales
apps, Oracle databases, and SQL databases. Along
with integrating call volume data from Lucent
switches to build a new, on-line app that compared the
call and sales volume, in a moving line chart, for HSN
to make live decisions during their television
broadcast.
14. In Closing…
I appreciate your time in reviewing my resume to
determine that I could make a good fit in your
company. I hope to hear from you soon.

Project Timeline:
This project was on track till the business added requirements. These requirements were approved which we then moved the timeline. During the parallel phase the business delayed go-live to go along with other business events. I was able to keep the project within budget. Controlled the scope and controlled the milestone deliverables to be on time as committed by the resources. I kept the communications going between the business and the team. Making sure requirements were being met as designed.

Project Timeline:
I took an agile approach to the timeline as the total budget was the more important part of the project. I was able to bring in the timeline and at the same time make sure quality did not suffer through the testing stage. The business wanted to add new requirements. I was able to negotiate with them to defer the requirements post-implementation. I worked with our business partners to deliver the project on time for go-live.

Work streams:
Initial implementation
Each County Department was a work stream.
Project timeline:
Did end-to-end delivery of this program. I provided a budget assessment to the County for approval before going out RFP to find the right Vendor to deliver the overall program. Developed a partnership with each county department and worked with them to develop the written scope for their specific needs. I determined each program prioritization and phase planning for the program’s budget. The program occurred over a 3 year period. Project delivered on-time.
BPM (EAI)
Budget: $700,000
4 main resources used on this project:
2 Developers
1 Architect
1 Server Engineer
1 Mainframe Engineer
1 Vendor Architect
Project Timeline:
My efforts were end-to-end with this project. I started with getting approval on the budget from the County before going out with an RFP to final implementation and training. The timeline was dependent on other projects as they were in need of EAI services. The initial deployment included finding connectors for the different environments. The hardest one to find was the connector to the mainframe environment. We eventually were able to determine a connector solution that was at no cost to the county. We had to collaborate with other county project teams and initiatives. It worked with several PASCO County OTS applications through connectors and the development of Web services. We met the initial timeline by having it ready before the first project need.

Project Timeline:

Continued with development, testing and to final implementation. I engaged with business leaders to determine their needs as this product was real time and used for viewing in every TV across the campus and also used on every stage that broadcast the live show. Used an agile approach for developing the product and went live on time. We added new functionality and different views based on the business priorities. It was a 3 year project.
