• Launched in 2008
• Over 2000 members

4. What is ELESIG?
• ELESIG is a community of researchers and practitioners from higher
and further education who are involved in investigations of learners'
experiences and uses of technology in learning.
• ELESIG members work together to share knowledge and practice and
develop a shared repertoire of resources which will be of benefit to
the community and the sector.
5. What do ELESIG members do?
• Communicate / stay in touch with the field of learners’ experiences of
e-learning
• Disseminate in an informal, friendly setting
• Find out about advances in methodology
• Gain feedback on their own research projects from colleagues
• Network with other researchers
