2. What we offer
RAPIC medical offers patients diagnostic services in a fast, affordable and convenient manner. We are
able to do this by attacking inefficient areas of the conventional diagnosis procedure. The service will
target patients anxious about their condition and seeking an alternative to the long public waiting lists.
A working diagnosis will be supplied through the cooperative effort of the GP and contracted con-
sultant linked by the RAPIC platform. Using the RAPIC system a patient never has to physically
meet or see the consultant for diagnosis. Instead the diagnosis is provided remotely based on a combi-
nation of patient history, structured clinical examination, test/scan results and supplementary data
(photos, digital heart recordings etc.). Due to the nature of this approach, services will not suit all
cases and be limited to a number of specialist areas.
How RAPIC works
To describe our approach we will use a rough example. A patient attends his/her GP and after initial
examination is flagged as a suitable candidate for RAPIC. If the patient wishes to use RAPIC they will
pay a fee to enter the system. The GP will then conduct a structured clinical examination and collect
additional data points (e.g. digital heart recording). This is used to establish a solid differential diag-
nosis. The information is uploaded to the RAPIC platform and passed to the contracted consultant.
He/she will suggest the most suitable tests/scans necessary for diagnosis. The patient is booked for
these tests through our platform. Third party partners will provide the tests/scans. Once the results
are available the consultant should have all the necessary information to decide on a working diag-
nosis and treatment plan. This information is then sent back to the GP and the patient is booked for
a follow-up appointment to discuss. The patient then has ownership of his condition and can move
forward as he/she deems fit.

4. About us/The Team
RAPIC medical was founded by father and son team Tim
and Tony Ryan in 2017. The goal, to create new and in-
novative approaches to established medical procedure by
utilizing advanced technology in a simple and functional
manner. Tim Ryan has a purely medical background with
over 40 years experience as a general surgeon. Tony Ryan
comes from an engineering and business background with
experience in the finance industry as a derivatives trader.
Together they seek to deploy their very different core com-
petencies to help eradicate inefficiency and improve health-
care services.
