• 10 out of 15 countries covered in West Africa: Benin, Burkina Faso,
Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Guinea, Mali Niger, Nigeria, Senegal and Togo
• Complete update of:
• crop data in Benin, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Mali, Niger, Togo,
• livestock data in Guinea, Mali
• Climate data updated for most of covered countries
• Upload of nutrition and others health indicators in Benin, Burkina
Faso, Ghana, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal and Togo
• Fish production data available in Ghana, Guinea, Mali
• Analytical work done in some countries:
• agricultural typology in Burkina Faso, Ghana, Nigeria and Togo
• food security typology in Burkina Faso

3. CHALLENGES
• Weakness of agricultural statistical system in some countries
(Ex: crop data are available only for 2007 in Cote d’Ivoire).
• Data access difficulties in some countries (Ex: Nigeria)
• Last years data not available for some indicators (livestock,
nutrition and health indicators) in some countries
• Weak harmonization of economic indicators
• Weak buy-in of e-atlas by some countries
