This document summarizes a seminar on capacity building for national rural networks. It discusses the aims of rural networks as outlined in Article 67 of Regulation 1698/2005, including collecting and disseminating good agricultural practices and information on rural development. It also discusses how networks should be managed based on Article 68, including through action plans containing good practices, network management, and experience exchange. The Commission expects networks to provide structured feedback on rural development implementation and activities with common goals to promote training and knowledge development. Networks should also reinforce rural development policy efficiency.
