  3. Are you looking for a way to increase your income? Many people in today’s economy want to increase their income and short of taking a part time job, they don’t have many options. Would you like to increase the amount of money you earn online? For most people, they either have no online revenues or very little. Imagine for a moment if you started receiving an extra $1,000 or $2,000 a month in online sales. That would be pretty nice wouldn’t it?
  4. I’m passionate about helping small business owners leverage technology to grow their business online. I started my business back in 2003. I worked in the corporate for over a dozen years. I loved what I did but I felt something was missing. When I was back in college, I had the opportunity to become President of an organization on campus called The Entrepreneurial Network. We brought in local business owners to share their story with students. It lit a fire inside me that inspired me to one day start my own business. In the Fall of 2001, we all witnessed a life-changing event. September 11th changed the way we looked at life. And it got me re-focused on my vision of starting my own business. That opportunity came to pass in May 2003. And I’ve been helping business owners ever since.
  5. I live in Sacramento with my wife Lisa. We have a beautiful home together and we love to spend time with our cats.
  6. The baby of the family is Daniel, an adorable orange cat who loves to hang out in the kitchen waiting for his next meal.

So, just set aside for the moment the how to and focus on your mindset around being an expert in your area.

We also decided to create a free report and then set up a lead capture page to offer it. Once the web page, he suddenly realized there were a lot of ways he could use it to generate leads. As a result, he quit his business networking group and was able to start delivering presentations over the phone to book clients. He also began using webinars as a sales tool. The big idea for you is that you can use a Lead Capture Page.
  30. [Struggle Story] There was a time in my business when I was struggling. I was using a CRM that was installed on my computer. I was using it for email marketing but the system kept crashing. I didn’t know what other options were available. I started talking to other people and I attended classes to learn more. I learned about Constant Contact and I made the switch. Suddenly it opened the door to new opportunities. I was able to start building my list. And the system didn’t crash. The big idea for you is that you don’t have to have the solution today. You just need to get started.
  31. Frank Kern is one of the highest paid copywriters in the world. People pay him tens of thousands of dollars to write brilliant copy for them. I spend a lot of my time writing copy for clients. Email copy, web copy, copy for information products. It’s a good use of my time and I do a great job. My copywriting fee is $100 an hour. If a sales page takes 5 hours to complete, my fee would be $500. That’s $500 for copy for one sales page.

And when you have a database, people will seek you out. If you ever change industries, you have a tool to be able to seek out new opportunities. Product line extensions – Easy to offer to list Once you have a database, it will start to grow organically. It’s a nice feeling when people just show up on your list and you don’t even know where they came from. A lot of you on the webinar are familiar with Eric Lofholm. As successful as he is, one of the secrets to his success is email marketing. With email marketing, Eric is a world renowned speaker and trainer. Without email marketing, Eric is a manager at an Olive Garden. How much could you accomplish if you learned to harness the power of email marketing? There’s your life without an email database, without webinars, without a lead capture page. And there’s your life with it. What a huge difference!

Or that blogs will just magically sprout content over time. No. It doesn’t happen that way. If you want to create something, then you need to create it. It takes discipline. One of the reasons I get so much done for so many people is because I’m disciplined. One of my mentors once told me, “if you want something done, give it to a busy person.” He was a busy person and he knew I was too. Busy people get things done.
  38. Webinars are a great strategy for lead conversion. Normally when you set an appointment, you will meet with someone one-on-one. You can use webinars for one-on-one selling and group selling. It’s actually simple when you know how to do it. If you are competing with someone who has these tools and you don’t, it’s like try to run a marathon with one leg tied behind your back. You’re hopping around trying to make progress. Eric Lofholm uses webinars to grow his business. I use webinars to grow my business. People in many industries are using webinars.
