Introduction
The internet has become an increasingly important factor of the learning environment
for teenager’s, the internet as an essential study aid outside the classroom and that the
internet increasingly has a place inside the classroom. Teachers are also starting to
incorporate the web into their classroom work. One science teacher from a big city vocational
school told the pew internet project she only uses the internet in her classroom every month.
Computer have come into the classroom. A rich variety of experience has been matched by a
baffling coincing of new terminology, telematics , educational technology, new information
and communication technologies, open learning, distant education, computer based learning
and more. This chapter sets out and assesses the record of using these technologies to
support basic education. And the online assessment is the process used to measure certain
aspects of information for a set purpose where the assessment is delivered via a computer
connected to a network.

online pretest to determine their level of knowledge. This form of assessment helps determine
a baseline so that when a summative assessment or post-test is given, qualitative evidence is
provided showing that learning has occurred.

Formative assessment is used to provide feedback during the learning process. In
online assessment situations, objective questions are posed, and feedback is provided
to the students either during or immediately after the assessment.
