• Like timelines, you can customize Pages by

and more.
• People who like your Page will get updates in
their News Feeds.
5. Difference between profile and page
• Profiles (timelines) represent individuals and
must be held under an individual name, while
Pages allow an organization, business, celebrity,
or band to maintain a professional presence on
Facebook.
• You may only create Facebook Pages to represent
real organizations of which you are an authorized
representative.
• Pages are managed by admins who have personal
Facebook profiles (timelines).
• You can add multiple admins
6. Pages vs Group
• Pages allow real organizations, businesses,
celebrities and brands to communicate
broadly with people who like them. Pages may
only be created and managed by official
representatives.
Groups provide a closed space for small
groups of people to communicate about
shared interests. Groups can be created by
anyone.

8. Cover Photos
• Larger picture
• Visible to public
• To get the best quality image and fastest load times for
your Page, upload an sRGB JPG file that's 851 pixels
wide, 315 pixels tall and less than 100 kilobytes.
Profile Photos
• Page profile pictures are square and displays at
160x160 pixels. The photo you upload must be at least
180x180 pixels.
• Uploading a square image of your brand's logo is
recommended. Rectangular images will be cropped to
fit a square.
