MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM MEANING : MIS is a system which helps management in performing its jobs, in making & implementing plans and controlling decisions. MIS refers to the study of how organizations use language and data processing to carry out daily operations, establish management control and plan for the future. It is Computer Based Information System. It is integrated system of man & machine.
PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT: Production means transformation of Raw materials into finished products for sale. According to E. L. Brech, “ Production Management is the process of effective planning and regulating the operations of that section of an enterprise which is responsible for the actual transformation of materials into finished products”.
