Admissions Policy
We are guests of the Mayor of London, and grateful for his support.
Meetings at City Hall should be conducted under the following rules
• Visitors to City Hall are respectfully requested to behave in a
considerate and courteous manner at all times and comply with
official instructions given by Security Officers and GLA Staff.
• Anyone who is considered to be a threat to good order will not be
admitted.
• Visitors must not disrupt or interfere with the activities that are
taking place at City Hall.
• The intimidation of Security Officers or other members of GLA Staff
will not be tolerated and neither will; aggressive behaviour, offensive,
threatening or abusive language or gestures.
• Anyone displaying these behaviours or not complying with official
instructions will be required to leave City Hall immediately.

• Provisional 2016 accounts have just been completed
• Finished the year with a £10,002 surplus
• No loans
• No overdraft
• No money owed
• Good cash flow as we head towards 2017
• Financially secure organisation running the UK’s
biggest free Pride event!
• All money raised through fundraising and sponsors is
spent on the event

Community: Community Advisory Board; Open Meetings; Liaison
with other LGBT+ local forums, stakeholders groups etc. We have
expanded our team to provide more engagement with women and
minority groups (including trans people, BME and young people)
and business LGBT+ intergroups and community charities.

What do we do?
Accessibility: Last year we were
awarded Silver certification for our
accessibility provision by the
Festivals charity ‘Attitude is
Everything’. Objective in 2017 is to
consolidate this, expand beyond the
Parade and Trafalgar Square plus
work towards Gold.
Community Engagement
• On 21st January an estimated 100,000
people marched in the centre of
London to protest for women’s rights –
5 times more than were expected.
• The London march was organised by a
group of inspirational women who
came together without the benefit of
a background in running major events.
• Pride in London provided vital behind
the scenes support through our
Operations and Communications
teams.
• We were also strongly represented on
the march, with our flags and
#superwomen placards, putting our
commitment to women’s equality in
action.
Pride in London Festival: (Saturday 24 to Sunday 9 July 2017) Also
larger and more diverse, again with its own printed programme. We are
aiming at 60 events of which about 10 will be produced by ourselves.
So far we have 6 confirmed, 32 leads currently being worked upon and
anticipate some really interesting events and activities being
showcased from the Science Museum and, possibly, the V&A; from film
showings to a talk on Polari. Even Royal Palace LGBT+ tours!

• The average parade group so far has 88 people in it
• 30 floats, plus 197 walking groups have applied.

  • 3. Greater London Authority - City Hall Admissions Policy We are guests of the Mayor of London, and grateful for his support. Meetings at City Hall should be conducted under the following rules • Visitors to City Hall are respectfully requested to behave in a considerate and courteous manner at all times and comply with official instructions given by Security Officers and GLA Staff. • Anyone who is considered to be a threat to good order will not be admitted. • Visitors must not disrupt or interfere with the activities that are taking place at City Hall. • The intimidation of Security Officers or other members of GLA Staff will not be tolerated and neither will; aggressive behaviour, offensive, threatening or abusive language or gestures. • Anyone displaying these behaviours or not complying with official instructions will be required to leave City Hall immediately.

  • 9. • Provisional 2016 accounts have just been completed • Finished the year with a £10,002 surplus • No loans • No overdraft • No money owed • Good cash flow as we head towards 2017 • Financially secure organisation running the UK’s biggest free Pride event! • All money raised through fundraising and sponsors is spent on the event Finance

Sponsorship & Partnerships • On track to increase income year on year • Well ahead of this time last year in terms of committed Sponsors • £50k less from GLA • Most of the core sponsors and supporter from last year have re-engaged • Announced two new major sponsors – PwC and Delta • Agreed a partnership with Radio DIVA • Working closely with London & Partners and Visit London to grow our Tourism related partners • Watch for an exciting new Partnership launch in the next few weeks!

Fundraising • On track to increase income year on year • Will expand our year round as well as on the day Fundraising • Continue use of contactless machines • Grow Pride Partners • Rolling out new initiatives – Pride in the City – Tough Mudder – Watch this space for a new event! • We are building relationships with Trusts & Foundation

Community Engagement Community: Community Advisory Board; Open Meetings; Liaison with other LGBT+ local forums, stakeholders groups etc. We have expanded our team to provide more engagement with women and minority groups (including trans people, BME and young people) and business LGBT+ intergroups and community charities.   • 13. Community Engagement What do we do? Accessibility: Last year we were awarded Silver certification for our accessibility provision by the Festivals charity ‘Attitude is Everything’. Objective in 2017 is to consolidate this, expand beyond the Parade and Trafalgar Square plus work towards Gold.

Community Engagement • On 21st January an estimated 100,000 people marched in the centre of London to protest for women’s rights – 5 times more than were expected. • The London march was organised by a group of inspirational women who came together without the benefit of a background in running major events. • Pride in London provided vital behind the scenes support through our Operations and Communications teams. • We were also strongly represented on the march, with our flags and #superwomen placards, putting our commitment to women’s equality in action.
  • 15. Pride in London Festival: (Saturday 24 to Sunday 9 July 2017) Also larger and more diverse, again with its own printed programme. We are aiming at 60 events of which about 10 will be produced by ourselves. So far we have 6 confirmed, 32 leads currently being worked upon and anticipate some really interesting events and activities being showcased from the Science Museum and, possibly, the V&A; from film showings to a talk on Polari. Even Royal Palace LGBT+ tours! LGBT History Month and IDAHOBIT Community Engagement
  • 16. Marketing The theme for 2017 will be launched in the second half of March!
