 SMAC trends are the strongest signal yet that
business ecosystems are becoming more digitized,
where information content accounts for a rising
proportion of the entire value of any product or
service. five manufacturing trends that will impact
the industry in 2015:
 'SMAC Stack' adoption to gain speed.
o Social media to further impact business model.
o Internet of Things (IoT) will increase automation and job
opportunities.

o The emergence

 Now the SMAC technologies account for less than 10% of the
total revenue of IT companies but according to international
report data’s corp. (IDC’s) estimate , INDIAN IT vendors will
generate at least $225 Billion in SMAC related revenue in 2020.
 Due to SMAC in the era of 2010-2020 the SMAC stack will
represent $5 trillion in combined spending.
 As many as billion computing devices will be connected to the
web and billions of users will be increased.
 The SMAC impact is not only on changing business models ,it is
also on the enabling internal organizational change.
 Leading global retailers are spending between 20-25 percent of
their advertising budget on social media channels.
 Mobile technologies can be used to cut the cost of a financial
transaction by up to 80 percent.
 Nearly 90 percent of top global banks use social networking to
achieve customer engagement.

 I have interest on the area mobility in the SMAC because 72 % of
business are completely satisfied with the mobile based services
and planning to increase their usage.
 If I get an opportunity to do an internship.I would like to work on the mobile
based services and can learn latest trends In the mobile services and try to
implement more innovative and efficient mobile services for the next
generation.
