Park Retreat located at Boyne Mountain Resort November 17-19 with
youth from Grace Bible Fellowship and Celebration Bible Church! The
cost is $60 and includes transportation, motel, all food and water park
entrance. Sign up at the Youth Counter. We’ll be meeting at the
church at 3:45 on Friday and returning by 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.

RAKE ‘N RUN Youth group will be raking yards this Saturday, November 4,
for those in the congregation who need it. They will rake lawns for free, but
donations will be accepted which will go toward youth accounts and/or youth
ministry. Please sign up at the Youth Counter if you would like this service.
PARKSIDE WARRIOR BIBLE CLUB If you have or know of children from age
4 through 5th grade, please invite them to our Warrior Bible Club (previously
known as Pioneer Clubs) which meets every Sunday from 6:00-7:30 p.m. The
curriculum is taking the kids through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation! They
will learn about the Bible, have fun, enjoy treats, play games, and meet other

3. CHURCH PANTRY
For the month of November, we’re collecting Thanksgiving and Holiday
items for our food pantry….cranberries, stuffing, bread mixes, etc. Items
can be put in the pantry box located next to the Women’s Ministry Counter.
The food Pantry is a confidential service provided to Parkside attendees
and anyone in need of food. Contact Julie Hapke or Ruthann VanAelst
for more information or call the church office.
PUERTO RICO HELP!
Grace Ministries International (GMI) is organizing a
team of skilled craftsmen and people to do physical
labor in Puerto Rico to help rebuild the facilities at
Camp Caribe. This is a sister ministry that was hit hard
by the hurricanes that damaged many of the buildings on the camp. If you
are interested in going down to help with your craft of building, plumbing,
electrical or just general labor, please let Randy Arendsen, our Missions
Chairman, know ASAP (616-772-2159.) He can give you further details
about the cost and timing of the trip. The team being sent will be going
sometime in early December.

HOLIDAY ARTS & CRAFTS FAIR
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 18

Our 9th Annual Arts & Crafts Fair at Parkside is right around
the corner! As part of the event, we hold a BAKE SALE with all
proceeds going to Youth Outreach and Missions. Can you help
out by providing baked items such as cookies, brownies, breads,
cupcakes, pies, gluten free and sugar free items, etc.? Please
complete the tear-off at the bottom of this insert and put
it in the offering plate or give it to Diane Cartwright or
Judy Timmer. Items must be dropped off at the church
by 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17.
ALSO:
Can you help us advertise by posting a flyer at your work place or
any busy location? Could you pass out small flyers to your friends?
You can pick up the flyers or small handouts from the Welcome
Center today. Yard signs will be available later.
Also if you could post the craft fair information on Facebook and
Twitter and email your friends, that would be GREAT! Details are
on the flyers. Please plan to attend and invite your friends, family
and neighbors! This is a great outreach for Parkside.
