1. Daily Routine of a Teenager in
the USA

3. I wake up in the morning at 6:45
I get ready for school.
• We say “get ready” to refer to everything you do to yourself in the morning. This includes brushing your
teeth, putting on make up, fixing your hair, getting dressed, etc.

4. I have breakfast and a coffee.

5. I leave my house at 7:15.
I drive to school in my car.

6. I begin my first class at 7:45.
I go to 4 classes in the morning. Between classes, I go to my locker to
get my different books.

7. At 11:45 I eat lunch in the big cafeteria with
my friends.

8. At 2:45, I finish my classes, but I don’t leave school. I have soccer practice
because I play for the school team and we practice every day after school.

9. At 5:00 pm I go home and do my homework.
At 7:00 pm I eat dinner.
I watch TV or get on the computer.
I take a shower.
At 10:00 or 11:00 I go to bed.

10. This weekend is Mardi Gras! I going to party with my friendsḿ

11. I going to meet with my friends on Saturday at 6:00 pm.ḿ
I going to wear a costume.ḿ
Weŕe going to watch the parade.
Weŕe going to catch beads and candy.
