WE ‘HEART’ VISITORS – At Our Saviour, we always celebrate the love of God that brought Jesus to suffer and die for
our sins so that we may have eternal life with Him. We ask visitors to please fill out the Fellowship Pad (it’s in the
hymnal rack) with today’s date, your name, address, phone number, etc. Please come and worship with us again!
CHILDREN WELCOME – The nursery and Sunday School are in session today. Toddlers to age 3 are welcome to the
Nursery; children age 4 thru grade 6 are welcome to attend Sunday School (registration forms can be found in the office
hallway). The nursery is located in the basement; SS children go to class after the Children’s Message. Childrens’
bulletins, for ages 3-6 and 7-12, can be found on the counter in the Narthex. For assistance, please talk to an usher.
2. IT’S THE BEST! – Please stop in the gym from 8:30-11am for some freshly baked, delicious ‘Greg’s Famous’ cinnamon
rolls and fellowship. Tables will be set up so grab a cup of coffee and head down the hallway…just follow the smell!
PRESCHOOL’S READY – Come to the church office for a Registration Packet for the 2010-11 school year. Classes
include a new MWF (8:30-11:30) program for 4- and 5-year-olds and a T-TH session for 3-year-olds from 8:30-10:30am.
We hope to fill the T-TH morning session and also offer an afternoon class from 12:30-2:30pm (a minimum number of
students are needed to run any class). If neighbors or friends are looking for a preschool, ask them to call 468-3596.
SEE YOU ON THURSDAY! – During Lent, you are encouraged to attend worship on Sunday and again on Thursday for
the special Lenten worship services held at 12:15 and 7pm. Lenten Devotions are available in the Narthex from LAMP.
YOUTH NIGHT – For youth in grades 6-12…Please join us this week Wednesday beginning at 3:30 pm. A $3 donation
is requested for a meal served around 5:15 pm. Grade 6 leaves at 6pm when grades 7 and 8 go to Confirmation. Grades
9-12 are welcome to stay until Confirmation ends at 7:30 pm. Questions? Ask Pastor Greg…greg@oslc-gb.org.
God grades on the cross, not the curve.
LWML – We're looking for more women interested in Lutheran Women in Mission (aka LWML.) If you've always
wanted to be a missionary, pray for a missionary, or support missions here and all over the world, this is the perfect
opportunity. Our next meeting will be Monday, March 8, at 7:00 in the parlor. Come and find out what we're all about. If
you need childcare, tell Stephenie ASAP, and we'll see what we can do. Stephhov@hotmail.com or 264-8317.
OPEN GYM AT OSLC! – Join members of OSLC and their friends for an evening of basketball. Open Gym will held on
Sundays from 6:30pm until 8:30pm. Come as you are able! Questions can be directed to Denny Steinmann at 826-2007.
SODA DONATIONS ACCEPTED – Cans of Coke and Pepsi products are again requested for the monthly Fish Fry.
Regular, diet and caffeine-free (both regular and diet) are needed. All donations are appreciated.
ST JOHN MINISTRY UPDATE – We are currently providing an evening meal to the guests at St John once a month.
Those who have served in this ministry have gained as much as they have given – not for their own glory, but knowing
that they are just following our Lord's command “Love your neighbor as yourself”. The guests at the shelter truly
appreciate the “home cooked” meals – their smiles speak volumes. One misconception is that the homeless don't have
jobs. Actually some go to sleep quite early because they have to get up early and walk to their place of employment.
These are people who, for a variety of reasons, are homeless. We will be providing evening meals March 19 and 28, and
April 15. We'll soon be contacting those of you who have already volunteered to help by providing food. Anyone else
who would like to join us may contact the office at 468-4065. Financial donations are always appreciated; please write
your name and church envelope # on a plain envelope and indicate “Homeless Shelter Meals” on the envelope. Donations
are used to purchase meat, milk, juice, paper plates, cups, forks, knives, spoons, etc. We ask for your prayers that the Lord
would continue to guide us in this ministry.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES UNLIMITED – Prescription pill bottles - remove the label and bring with the cap on.
Cell phones – for local domestic abuse victims and ‘Cell Phones for Soldiers’. Non-perishable food - Manna for Life
food pantry (ongoing). Personal care/cleaning supplies - Help for the Homeless campaign (until March 21). We thank
those who are participating in these outreach opportunities. Donation containers are in the office hallway by the coat rack.
HOW SWEET! – Sweet Monday is coming again. Ladies, meet in the parlor on March 1 from 7-8:30pm. We will see a
cooking demonstration and make resurrection eggs. You'll receive recipes and ideas to help your family celebrate Easter
in unique, meaningful ways. Great for families with small children (but good for everyone! If you have any of these
supplies, would you bring them with you? cotton balls, dimes, thorns, dice, string or leather lace, small nails, a sponge,
small rocks, egg cartons, and lots of colorful plastic eggs for the items. Any questions? Contact Stephenie at
stephhov@hotmail.com. Guests are not only welcome - they're the point of us meeting. Bring friends! No RSVP needed.
SEROOGY’S FUNDRAISER – Purchase Fudge Eggs, chocolate bunnies or lambs and boxes of assorted Seroogy’s
chocolates at the same price as in the store but the OSLC Preschool receives 50% of the sale price. Orders will be ready

March 12. Assorted candy bars (we now have SIX flavors) are also available for purchase in the office anytime.
