Duane Morris Vietnam LLC was awarded the Merit Award from the Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee for its achievements in 2016. Duane Morris was the only foreign law firm in Hanoi to receive this award. It was recognized for fully complying with Vietnamese laws on legal practice, organization, taxation, and labor. Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee. The Award was granted to Duane Morris Vietnam LLC
(“Duane Morris”) for good achievements in judiciary support in 2016.
Duane Morris was the only foreign law firm in Hanoi that got this Award due to the below
achievements of operation, legal compliance and social contribution:
- Duane Morris satisfied the requirements of compliance of the law on lawyers such as legal
practice areas, legal service agreements, recruiting and training legal practice probationers,
buying professional insurance for lawyers and social insurance for employees, registering the
changes in operation with the Hanoi Department of Justice and submitting the reports required
by the Ministry of Justice, the Hanoi Department of Justice, the Hanoi Department of Taxation,
the Hanoi Departments of Statistics, …
- Duane Morris fulfilled all requirements on organization, registration, human resource
management, the tax laws, labor laws
- For the past few years, Duane Morris provided legal services to more and more clients, gained
higher income by years and contributed more and more to the State budget.
- Duane Morris lawyers have been the bridge for foreign investors of different areas such as:

- For years, we cooperated well with various Government agencies and ministries including
