6. In the city’s sun-browned heart Where the highways meet and part, 6

7. Beneath whose shade the sparrows dart The Holy Bodhi stands. 7

8. Down the river’s fertile shore Where young meet for Dhamma’s lore 8

9. Enshrined within a pilgrim door, The Holy Bodhi stands. 9

10. May We Be Alert, Heedful, And Mindful 10

11. May We Be Honest And Truthful 11

12. May We Develop Our Wisdom And Compassion 12

13. May We Strive On Diligently Until Enlightenment 13

14. Years by thousands have gone by Since that Indian Prince did sigh, 14

15. And where became The Buddha high, The Holiest Bodhi stands! 15
