6. ...for Josh Westermann
Josh realizes the great need for a car in Nairobi. Everything is very
spread out and it has been extremely difficult getting around the slums
and downtown areas. He has been taking Matatus (minibus taxis) that
are unsafe or walking long distances where they donât have them. He
doesnât mind, but itâs very time-consuming and limits the ministry he can
do each day.
Having the use of a car would free him and the rest of the Ambassadors
in Sport staff tremendously. It would also provide many more
opportunities to be involved with the different ministries in Kenya and
give rides to those that need it.
Cars are actually more expensive in Kenya than in the States. The
cheapest, second-hand car is around $5,000. Right now his support
account would not allow him to buy a car.
Would you pray with Josh about this and consider helping him in
reaching the goal of $5000 to purchase a second-hand car? Upon
completion of his time in Kenya, he will either donate the car to the
Ambassadors in Sport office there or sell it and use the money to
continue with this ministry elsewhere.
[ ] Yes, I/We would like to donate towards the goal of WESTERMANN
$5000 for the purchase of a car for Josh in Nairobi, Kenya.
Donation amount $ ______.
