Disabled people face challenges accessing public spaces and parking if wheelchair access is blocked. A sign in Romania said "If you took my place, take my disability as well" to express the frustration of lacking accessible parking or facilities. We should be considerate of disabled people's needs for independent mobility and inclusion in the community.
13. This is how it should always look like. This is our car and the wheelchair belongs to my husband. Please remember : the special parking place with the ramp is important to enable disabled people to move as freely as possible and have access to different places.
14. Please keep a distance of 2.5 m to enable the robot to take the wheelchair out .
17. I do not like the language of this sign , but I can definitely understand the frustration not to be able to park the car in the special places , or access places because there are no facilities for disabled people.
28. We, the one's who are challenged, need to be heard . To be seen not as a disability, but as a person who has, and will continue to bloom . To be seen not only as a handicap, but as a well intact human being . -- Robert M . Hensel
