2. True Emotion of Body Language
 Most of body language of people is hardly
controlled. Some motions are natural
reflection, combine with mind, sense and
think of people at any time, any situation.
 Otherwise, body language is
easy to be misunderstood,
especially in today’s society; we
tend to look at body language
and implications of it rather
than words that were said.
Basic of body languages should be avoided when communicating as following

3. 1 - Cover in Around Your Body with Some Effects
 This motion show that you lack
confidence, shy, isolated and passive.
You always try to hide yourself
before someone or something.
 Let put your laptop aside, let put
your briefcase down; don’t leave
any effects as barriers between
you and your partner!

4. 2 - Watch the Clock, Mint Your Nail
 You will make your partners discomfort if you
look at the clock or mint your nail while you
are talking to them. They would think you are
very tired of talking, want to finish soon and
also show your nervousness.

5. 3 - Not Directly Face the Person You Are Talking
 It show your discomfort or lack of interest.
When we are happy to participate in a
conversation, we must face those who are
talking; our feet and body bend directly ahead
of us. When we feel uncertain about others, or
don’t want to conserve with someone, we tend to
leave our leg and body direction to aside.
 “Therefore, directly facing to
forward in a conversation to
give the impression that you
are really interested in what
others say”.

6. 4 - Rubbing Your Chin While Looking at Someone
 “I’m judging you…!” Everybody
often rub their chin in decision
making.
“Therefore, if you look at someone
while you are rubbing your chin, they
maybe think you are judging them; it
makes the opposite discomfort”.

7. 5 - Squint You Eye
 If you want to give some the impression
that you do not like them (or their ideas),
squint when you look at them.
 Somebody make the mistake of thinking
that squinting in conversation is a
reflection of deep thoughts.
Don’t send the wrong message to everyone!

8. 6 - Standing Too Close
 This just makes people feel uncomfortable
(except intimacy). Keep distance between two
people when you talk to show respect for
private space of others. When you stand too
close, they will help overwhelmed and exhibit
discomfort at all (for instance, body odor or
breathe odor…).
“Therefore, a reasonable distance between two
people create harmony, comfort in the talk”.

9. 7 - Looking Down When Communicating
 It normally shows that you not interested.
Sometimes it is even a sign of arrogance. If
you take a glance down at your clothes in a
conversation, especially in combination with
search something lower, most people will
assume that you do not accept their ideas and
feel uncomfortable.
“Therefore, it always straight look ahead
and communicate your eyes when you see
someone you know. Posture is a sign directly
showing your self-confidence and calm”.

10. 8 - Touch your face in a conversation
 Touch your face, especially on the nose; it is
normally a sign of lie. Besides, cover your
mouth is a common gesture shows that you are
lying.
“Therefore, always keep your hands off
your face when you are talking”.

11. 9 - Fake Smiles
 A sign commonly seen on the face of deception. A
genuine smile has wrinkles at the corners of the
eyes and changes the expression of the face,
while fake smile only involves the mouth and
lips. It’s easy to distinguish between two smiles.
“Therefore, don’t force yourself to a fake
smile…unless you take the picture”.

12. 10 - Don’t Fold Your Arms
 Fold arms as if you were in defensive
posture. It sends a message that you are
threatened or uncomfortable and wants to
end the communication; or you do not agree
to what others are saying; this action may
also reflect the conservative, intolerant of
you.
