The Carers Support Team is hosting a Walk & Talk event on June 10th at the Midlands Arts Centre in Cannon Hill Park to mark the beginning of Carers Week 2013 in Birmingham. Participants will meet at 10am to start a leisurely walk at 10:30am, followed by a gentle cool down exercise and optional laughter session. The theme of Carers Week is "Prepared to care?" - making sure carers have access to practical and emotional support. Those interested should dress appropriately and bring any needed refreshments or equipment.

The Carers Support Team invites you to join them on a
health and wellbeing event for Carers to help mark the
beginning of
Carers Week 2013 in Birmingham.
If you would like to join the team, other carers and
professionals for a leisurely walk followed by a gentle cool
down exercise and laughter session (optional) then you
can meet us in the courtyard at the
rear of the Midlands Arts Centre

refreshments or equipment you may need whilst walking i.e. a drink, walking aids etc.

session very gentle if you have not taken part in any exercise recently or have any pre-
existing medical condition you should consult your GP before undertaking the walk.
