Not as engaging.
Pay special attention, next 10 minutes
I’ve heard it often in healthcare setting: we’re all patients.
Some patients are less patient than others.
They act, and they do something awesome to improve their own condition.
The best ones do it in a way that influences the whole healthcare system!
We’re here to celebrate this kind of activism.
The reason why all of you, dear audience, are here, is that we, the organizers of the Patient Innovator Track, would love to see the spark from these presented innovations to really catch FHIR.
As I’ve understood, none of the presented initiatives are FHIR enabled yet.
So, we invite all of you to participate! Watch the presentations, search your heart to see which one touches you the most, and think which kind of a contribution you could offer to that project!
It can be something small, like telling the person that they’re doing awesome stuff. Or it can be sharing what you’ve heard with someone you know who might be interested in it.
Or it can be something bigger, like taking some time during this conference to discuss with them and offer your expertise to the projects. Related to how the information is modelled, how an app is integrated with an EHR, how the business model could work in different markets.
Or it can be something huge, like offering to help the project after the conference.
We’d love to see some of that happening!
