Experience includes:  Reservoir Geologist including Petrophysics, Hydrodynamics, Dome Petroleum, 1979 to 1984.  Senior Exploration Geologist, conventional and nonconventional drilling; ie slant hole and horizontal, A & D evaluations, project management, 2D and 3D seismic Czar Resources 1984 to 1994  Senior Consulting Geologist to several E & P companies, Junior to Senior, 1994 to 2003; Path finding and creating core area initiatives, Initiate production growth strategies, Evaluate and Create new opportunities
  2. MICHAEL FRANKOVITCH PrSciNat (continued : page 2) Through this varied experience I had the opportunity to map most of the stratigraphic packages of the WCSB including Devonian platforms, reefs and pinnacles, Mississippian Carbonate and Karst features, Triassic and Jurassic sands, carbonates and subcrops and Cretaceous channels and shorelines from the Laramide structures of NE British Columbia to the shallow gas of Southern Alberta. My career has been one of steady progress and great satisfaction. Enroute to my current status I gained invaluable experience in:  Structural and Stratigraphic mapping of the Overthrust, Deformed and Foreland Belts  Stratigraphic elements of off-shore depositional systems  Genesis and geometry of carbonate and clastic reservoirs  Diagenetic effects of burial, and tensional fracturing during subsequent tectonic activity  Prograding and accreting shorelines and incised valleys in sequence stratigraphic events  Fluvial processes in source, transport and entrapment of oil and gas.  Turbidite sedimentation  Deviated and Horizontal drilling programs and off-shore field operations  Water Flood Operations – Oil Field gas and water reinjection  Hydrodynamic and Drill-stem test interpretation  Economics and risk assessment and project management  Computer applications in the workplace Technical Strengths and Accredited Training  Reservoir Geology, Petrophysics and Hydrodynamics  Veteran Mapper and Stratigrapher, assimilating all available data into prospects:  Extensive exposure to 2-D Seismic interpretation of structural and stratigraphic features:  Technology-friendly, familiar with several PC Windows-based applications; Accumap being the preferred GIS application, several training sessions with Petrel and Kingdom  Surfer 12 is the chosen mapping program for the ease of presenting 3D maps  Well-developed sense of Risk Assessment:  Accomplished presenter at all levels MIKE FRANKOVITCH: Contact Information Residence: 46 Mariner Drive, Woodbridge Island, Cape Town, South Africa, 7441 Phone: Residence: +27(0)21.551.2181 Cellular: +27(0)73.349.5940 Office: +27(0)21.929.3677 Email: michael.frankovitch@petrosa.co.za Registered Member of SACNASP; Professional Geologist since 2009 (South African Counsel for Natural Science Professions)
