10. Central registers create value by decoupling
organisations and by centralizing functions
• Central registers lower transaction cost for customer and
intercompany processes
• Position, available, booking etc.
• In BE (5 Mio electricity connections) and NL (6,5 Mio) the NPV of
decommissioning local IT functions only was between MEUR 30-50
• Upcoming change will increase this value by allowing shared
investments
• harmonization of the Nordic retail market, hourly meter readings, roaming
of EV charging
