the industry. The team has a wide experience in manufacturing and designing of medical needles.
Medax is located in Poggio Rusco Mantova, in the north of Italy where its R&D, Technical, Sales and Production
departments are based.
R&D and the Technical Department specialize in customers’ product personalization and to find solutions that can
elevate the standard of care and improve the comfort during the medical procedure. The Medax Engineering team
can help customers with the design of the product and with the realization of a rapid prototype.
The Sales network manages the Italian and Worldwide Distributors: Medax is present in more than 60 countries in
the world. A specialized sales-force provides frontline support to customers and organizes on-going education and
training programs.
In the Production area, the steel processing department is able of cutting, grinding, bending, conifers, welding,
sanding, knurling, electro cleaning, ultrasonic cleaning and other types of work on special steel components. The
plastics molding department has vertical injection molding machines. All assembly and packaging activities take
place in a clean room class ISO 8, where environmental parameters are constantly monitored to prevent any risk of
contamination. Thanks to the 100% in house production, Medax is able to grant flexibility and cost effectiveness.

In order to meet demanding production and product specifications, Medax’s quality management system is certified to
ISO13485:2003 standards, in accordance with the requirements of the medical disposable 93/42/CEE directive and its
relevant updates. All products undergo intensive clinical testing and are fully CE and FDA approved.
