The 20th Century has revealed to us more about the structure of the universe than humankind has learned in all the preceding centuries before it combined. We have learned: that our universe is expanding , with galaxies receding from one another at ever-increasing rates that the contents of our universe are the remnants of a gigantic explosion, whose residual heat we detect in the form of the microwave background, a bath of radiation at a temperature 3K that our universe has a history, one that began about 15 billion years ago that the very constants in the equations of physics take on uniquely special values, without which life would not be possible Is it all simply the result of some grand cosmic accident? Or is it possible we are part of a Creation?
