Remarks:
Executive summary
     Executive summary of Pepsi is that Pepsi is the world’s number
one brand and in that repot we discuss Pepsi 4 p’s product place price
and promotion. In this report we discuss Pepsi history where it was
made first time and how it become popular all over the world.

     We discuss Pepsi 4ps in which we discus and than we analysis
about the product and give some suggestion about there competitors
how to fight and how to sell more than your competitors and attract
your competitors customer. And than we conclusion about the product
and told many other’s variety which is not presented in this due to not
necessary.
Pepsi Background

                    Pepsi is a carbonated soft
                     drink produced and
                     manufactured by PepsiCo. The
                     drink was first made in the
                     1890s by pharmacist Caleb
                     Davis Bradham in New Bern,
                     North Carolina. The brand was
                     trademarked on June 16,
                     1903. There have been
                     many Pepsi Variants produced
                     over the years.
Introduction:
       Pepsi was first introduced as "Brad's Drink” in New Bern, North Carolina,
United States, in 1893 by Caleb Bradham, who made it at his drugstore where the
drink was sold. It was later labeled Pepsi Cola, named after the digestive enzyme
Pepsin and kola nuts used in the recipe.[3] Bradham sought to create a fountain
drink that was delicious and would aid in digestion and boost energy.

In 1903, Bradham moved the bottling of Pepsi-Cola from his drugstore to a rented
warehouse. That year, Bradham sold 7,968 gallons of syrup. The next year, Pepsi
was sold in six-ounce bottles, and sales increased to 19,848 gallons. In 1909,
automobile race pioneer Barney Oldfield was the first celebrity to endorse Pepsi-
Cola, describing it as "A bully drink...refreshing, invigorating, a fine bracer before a
race." The advertising theme "Delicious and Healthful" was then used over the
next two decades. In 1926, Pepsi received its first logo redesign since the original
design of 1905. In 1929, the logo was changed again.

In 1931, at the depth of the Great Depression, the Pepsi-Cola Company entered
bankruptcy – in large part due to financial losses incurred by speculating on wildly
fluctuating sugar prices as a result of World War I. Assets were sold and Roy C.
Megargel bought the Pepsi trademark. Megargel was unsuccessful, and soon
Pepsi's assets were purchased by Charles Guth, the President of Loft Inc. Loft was
a candy manufacturer with retail stores that contained soda fountains. He sought
to replace Coca-Cola at his stores' fountains after Coke refused to give him a
discount on syrup. Guth then had Loft's chemists reformulate the Pepsi-Cola
syrup formula.

On three separate occasions between 1922 and 1933, the Coca-Cola Company
was offered the opportunity to purchase the Pepsi-Cola company, and it declined
on each occasion.

American multinational corporation headquartered
in Purchase, New York, with interests in manufacturing and
marketing a wide variety of carbonated and non- carbonated
beverages

   Pepsi is known as worlds numbers one cold drink and spread
all over the worlds. Pepsi consumptions increase day by day due
to increase of Pepsi lover.

Design:
     Its design is different from others cold
drinks.

Brand Name:
     Our products can be found in nearly 200
countries around the globe. PepsiCo is a global
food and beverage leader with a diverse
product portfolio that includes 22 brands that each generates
more than $1 billion each in annual retail sales. Take a closer look
at the brands and products that make up the PepsiCo portfolio.

Variety:
     Pepsi is available in many flavors
according to the customers need and wants.

Prices:
Price includes the pricing strategy of the company for its
products. How much customer should pay for a product? Pricing
strategy not only related to the profit margins but also helps in
finding target customers. Pricing decision also influence the
choice of marketing channels

Price decisions include:

     Pricing Strategy (Penetration, Skim, etc)
     List Price
     payment period
     Discounts
     Financing
     Credit terms

The soft drink industry today is confronted with a bewildering
array of price increases. Our expenditures for labor, ingredients,
transportation and more all continue to rise. The cost of
aluminum alone has increased dramatically since last year. Across
our entire system however, we have been cutting overhead and
re-engineering our manufacturing process in order to keep our
prices competitive. It is our policy to limit any price increases to
the retail trade to the lowest possible extent Providing

Price of a Pepsi is also affordable for a normal person that can be
afford ed.

           Pepsi is given to it lover at nominal rates Pepsi is
available in various prices. Price of all soft drinks were probably
same but Pepsi lovers wants Pepsi instead of coke dew and 7up
and other drinks.
Discount
     Providing quality products at the lowest possible price has
always been one of the main concerns of Pepsi.
For example, in PAKISTAN two-liter bottle of Pepsi
cost 90rs and allow discount to its retailers and
whole sallers and also allow discount in RAMZAN
Place:
it not only includes the place where the product is placed, all
those activities performed by the company to ensure the
availability of the product tot he targeted customers. Availability
of the product at the right place, at the right time and in the right
quantity is crucial in placement decisions.

     Inventory
     Order processing
     Market coverage
     selection of channel members

  through advertisements and via
  crickets and films hero also cast for
  Pepsi advertisement and publicity

               Another way to publicity
               is to offer a new scheme
               into market that buy
               Pepsi 300ml and chance to win ticket to watch
               world cup live with blab blab blab.
Analysis:
Pepsi is famous and favorite soft drink of every even but
it is being more popular in youngster. But there is a
though time competitors in a market with Pepsi is coca
cola which is also most popular in all over the world.
There is a big competition between Pepsi and coke.
According to the market survey Pepsi is defeating coke just by 2% it
means that 52% lover of Pepsi is spread all over the world but there is
also a big fan of coke all over the world it means that Pepsi have to
introduce some thing new in a market.

I think Pepsi has to introduce again juice in a market with various
flavors. Pepsi introduce Tropicana into market which is a popular in a
market which is in only mango flavor. But we all know that all people
have not same taste that kept in our mind being as a manufacturer
Pepsi has to introduce again juice in a market with the old name
TROPICAN but in different flavors like orange, strawberry, grapes and
banana flavors which will be popular.
Conclusion:
      Over all Pepsi is number one brand in all over the world and it is
number one beverage and made a king of all beverages. Pepsi is
available in many different taste according to the consumers need and
wants. Pepsi is available in Pepsi max and Pepsi diet(for sugar free
patients), Pepsi vanilla. Pepsi cappuccino , Pepsi strawberry burst, Pepsi
strawberry, Pepsi Tropicana chill, Pepsi Tropicana(juice)

And Pepsi aquafina water.
Recommendations
We recommended for Pepsi that Pepsi has to increase the number of
variety that is provided in a market which is not enough to beat their
competitor because its competitors gives more than flavors in market
which attract customers. Pepsi competitors are were not only coke but
it is a war between coke 7up sprite and dew also so pepsi company
have to be very attentive and more advertisement more than your
competitors. Makes franchise outlets promotions and gives more
discounts offers and gives offer in market like given in when t20 world
cup occurs “BUY PEPSI AND WIN A CHANCE TO GO SRILANKA AND
WATCH LIVE MATCH BETWEEN PAK n INDIA”

Pepsi has to provide a new flavor in a market like no one introduce in a
market

I recommended that Pepsi has to provide a new flavor in a market like
Pepsi in a orange flavor which will be popular in all over the world
because its competitors only provide only few products in a market but
Pepsi introduces many flavors in a market like Pepsi vanilla Pepsi white
(yoghurt taste) Pepsi zero (sugar free) and many more products. I
thought it will be become a popular product in the market because
Pepsi lover’s is waiting for another product of Pepsi.

  • 4. Executive summary Executive summary of Pepsi is that Pepsi is the world’s number one brand and in that repot we discuss Pepsi 4 p’s product place price and promotion. In this report we discuss Pepsi history where it was made first time and how it become popular all over the world. We discuss Pepsi 4ps in which we discus and than we analysis about the product and give some suggestion about there competitors how to fight and how to sell more than your competitors and attract your competitors customer. And than we conclusion about the product and told many other’s variety which is not presented in this due to not necessary.
  • 5. Pepsi Background  Pepsi is a carbonated soft drink produced and manufactured by PepsiCo. The drink was first made in the 1890s by pharmacist Caleb Davis Bradham in New Bern, North Carolina. The brand was trademarked on June 16, 1903. There have been many Pepsi Variants produced over the years.
  • 6. Introduction: Pepsi was first introduced as "Brad's Drink” in New Bern, North Carolina, United States, in 1893 by Caleb Bradham, who made it at his drugstore where the drink was sold. It was later labeled Pepsi Cola, named after the digestive enzyme Pepsin and kola nuts used in the recipe.[3] Bradham sought to create a fountain drink that was delicious and would aid in digestion and boost energy. In 1903, Bradham moved the bottling of Pepsi-Cola from his drugstore to a rented warehouse. That year, Bradham sold 7,968 gallons of syrup. The next year, Pepsi was sold in six-ounce bottles, and sales increased to 19,848 gallons. In 1909, automobile race pioneer Barney Oldfield was the first celebrity to endorse Pepsi- Cola, describing it as "A bully drink...refreshing, invigorating, a fine bracer before a race." The advertising theme "Delicious and Healthful" was then used over the next two decades. In 1926, Pepsi received its first logo redesign since the original design of 1905. In 1929, the logo was changed again. In 1931, at the depth of the Great Depression, the Pepsi-Cola Company entered bankruptcy – in large part due to financial losses incurred by speculating on wildly fluctuating sugar prices as a result of World War I. Assets were sold and Roy C. Megargel bought the Pepsi trademark. Megargel was unsuccessful, and soon Pepsi's assets were purchased by Charles Guth, the President of Loft Inc. Loft was a candy manufacturer with retail stores that contained soda fountains. He sought to replace Coca-Cola at his stores' fountains after Coke refused to give him a discount on syrup. Guth then had Loft's chemists reformulate the Pepsi-Cola syrup formula. On three separate occasions between 1922 and 1933, the Coca-Cola Company was offered the opportunity to purchase the Pepsi-Cola company, and it declined on each occasion.
