2. “ Teachers are Human” Grades 3-5 ELA Essential Question How can diversity affect learning and motivation?

3. Unit Plan Summary: New students and some returning students are not familiar with the staff and room locations of teachers in grades K-5. My class will create a booklet to address these issues. Students will generate interview questions, complete the interview, and create a page for the booklet. Hopefully they will then create a video of these interviews as read by the student.

6. Why is it important to have teachers with different interests, backgrounds, teaching styles, and structures?

7. Interviews with Teachers Who should we interview? How can we decide who each student will interview? How can these interviews be helpful to our students, new students, or the community?
