8. Events
Siesta Key Farmers Market a best kept
secret operates every Sunday morning
in the Village. A great way to spend a
vacation, seeing local artists and local
businesses selling their products. It
goes from 8am to 1pm and most are
closing up at 1pm so come early and
hangout and listen to the live music!
11. A super way to
spend Sunday
morning! Have a
tasty breakfast at
one of the many
restaurant choices
in the village. Then
visit the market
before heading to
the beach.
12. The market is located in the parking lot
of the Davidson's Pharmacy at the 5100
block of Ocean Blvd. The market
includes many vendors such as fresh
fruits and veggies by Yum Yum Tree,
Fouta Spa towels, hand made pottery,
Vinsoy hand made candles by Kim
Johnson.

16. After walking the beach come into the
Village and check out some of the
restaurants, bars and boutiques. One of
my favorites is The Hub Baja Grill
located at the stop sign. Pan-Latin fare &
margaritas are the draws at this festive,
tropical-themed eatery with live music.
17.
18. Another favorite is The Cottage. The staff are
friendly, you feel like they could be family. They
have a couple of nice sitting options, I.e. front
porch to watch the people walking by, inside if
it's too hot and the inner courtyard which has
some great island music. The food is above
average with some Asian and other influences.
Great spot to meet folks.
