Google Summer of Code (GSoC)
A remote software development internship.
The students do coding (3 months)
Google Pays a stipend (3000 - 6600$) to successful students.
Projects proposed by organizations such as Emory BMI.
A prototype or a module that is not in the critical path.

Mentor Responsibilities
●
Propose project ideas. ← Where we are now!

Choose the best among the student proposals.
– Mentor 1 – 2 students only.
●
Feel free not to accept any at all.
– If no proposal with sufficient quality received.
– Google allocates the number of slots per organization.
• Emory BMI received 4 – 7 slots in the past years.
