Our mission is about empowerment, encouragement and creating memorable experiences. Kids & Art teams up children touched by cancer, their siblings, and caregivers with local artists.
We create a network of support by providing regular art sessions, for the child and their care circle during treatment, recovery and bereavement.

2. When a child is touched by cancer, his or her life changes completely.
• Days gets filled with treatment, therapies and countless doctor visits
• No guaranteed funs days or moments of play
• Need to leave play dates halfway due to harsh side effects from
treatments
• Miss school for long periods due to hospital stay
We want to make a difference and give them something tangible!

Kids & Art aspires to include programs like music, yoga and meditation; and to expand
our reach to every hospital, to every hospice care facility, and to every child in the
world touched by cancer.
5. Our Path
• One-on-one art sessions (local artists
and child)
• Group programs at places like Ronald

• Work with bereaved families to help
translate memories into art
• Work with multiple media from LEGO,
painting, sculpture to photography
• Create with community to create art
that is then created into one big piece

7. Testimonial from a Parent:
“Kids & Art presents wonderful programs for
children affected by cancer. There is a way that
cancer attacks the whole family. Our children
suffered through cancer: one got the treatments,
the other became isolated. At workshops they were
able to work with artists to express themselves
wordlessly and respond from their hearts. Later, they
went to an auction and their work raised money for
the cause. The whole experience was very
empowering and healing. Thank you so much for
creating this place for kids affected by cancer to
shape their world.”
- Kate Mayer, Parent

cancer. We might not be able to take their
cancer away but we can definitely be there
for them through their journey.
We sincerely thank you for believing in our
cause and supporting our mission.
Our hope is that Kids & Art will create
healing, peace, and lasting memories for
every family touched by cancer.
