Don’t’ wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful.

Growth
1. SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE!
Sermon by; Pastor Juanito D. Samillano Jr.
Independent Baptist Churches in the Philippines!
Purok, Sili, Gredu, Panabo City Philippines.
2. Text; Luke 8;5-8
"A sower went out to sow his seed. And as
he sowed, some fell by the wayside; and it
was trampled down, and the birds of the
air devoured it." Some fell on rock; and as
soon as it sprang up, it withered away
because it lacked moisture. "And some
fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang
up with it and choked it. "But others fell
on good ground, sprang up, and yielded a
crop a hundredfold."
3. Theme; Growth
• Don’t’ wait until everything is just right. It will
never be perfect. There will always be
challenges, obstacles and less than perfect
conditions. So what. Get started now. With each
step you take, you will grow stronger and
stronger, more and more skilled, more and

4. The things needed for our Growth!
I; The Word of God!
II; The trials!
III; The human heart!
5. I; The Word of God
• V; 5 “A farmer went out to sow his seed. As
he was scattering the seed, some fell along
the path; it was trampled on, and the birds
ate it up.
• Psalm 119: 105 Your word is a lamp for my
feet, a light on my path.
• 1 Peter 2:2 as newborn babes, desire the
pure milk of the word, that you may grow
thereby!
6. Statement of faith of the IBCP!
• We believe the sixty-six books of the Bible to be the
infallible written Word of God, verbally inspired by the
Holy Spirit to the extent of its smallest part, inerrant in
the original manuscripts and the only final authority in
all matters of faith and conduct. The Scriptures are
without error or misstatement in all matters on which
they speak, including matters of moral and spiritual
teaching, historical facts, and scientific facts.
• They are totally sufficient and must not be added to,
superseded, or changed by later tradition, extra-
biblical revelation, or worldly wisdom. Every doctrinal
formulation, whether of creed, confession, or theology
must be put to the test of the full counsel of God in
Holy Scripture.
7. II; The trials
• VV 13 Those on the rocky ground are the
ones who receive the word with joy when
they hear it, but they have no root. They
believe for a while, but in the time of
testing they fall away. 14 The seed that
fell among thorns stands for those who
hear, but as they go on their way they are
choked by life’s worries, riches and
pleasures, and they do not mature.
8. • Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am
with you; do not be dismayed, for I am
your God. I will strengthen you and help
you; I will hold you with my righteous
right hand.
9. III; Our Heart
• Negative; V; 12 Those along the path are the
ones who hear, and then the devil comes and
takes away the word from their hearts, so that
they may not believe and be saved.
• Matthew 22; 37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord
your God with all your heart and with all your
soul and with all your mind!
• Positive; V 15 But the seed on good soil stands
for those with a noble (Honest) and good heart,
who hear the word, retain it (hold it), and by
persevering produce a crop!
