- Good afternoon. Welcome to this workshop examining the Australian Governmentâs work on sustainable agriculture and our current policy and future developments in this area.
- Weâll be hearing from three speakers today who present on the following topics: Alexandra Gartmann - Precision agriculture and how social media and modern communication technology is used in agriculture and in Landcare. Moragh Mackay - Bass Coasts Landcare network model - what works, how we got there, challenges and opportunities for Landcare. Naomi Wilson - Barkly Landcare science and planning and supporting Landcare and best practice pastoral land management. A 30 minute facilitated question, answer and discussion session will follow and I look forward to your thoughts and comments. Iâll now invite our first speaker Alex who will be followed by Moragh and Naomi.
