5. Orient Yourself
• In the console area, type the following commands. Press
enter after each one. Figure out or find out what the
command does:

6. Demonstrating Mastery
• Bring your laptop to class
• Show that R and R-Studio have been installed by running R-
Studio
• Assign a value to a variable, then display that value, then
show that the variable exists on the R workspace
