This document outlines the MYP Design Technology program at a school. It states that all students in Years 1-5 are required to take a minimum of 50 hours per year of Design Technology. While some students may not take a Design course, they will be exposed to Design Technology through integration in other subjects. In Grade 6, students take Design Technology once a week for 35 hours. In Grades 7-8, students take the course twice a week for over 50 hours total.
