1 The client is the person/people that the
design is being designed for and aimed
at.
2 A brief is a written description of what
the design should do and what specifics
are needed.
3 The problem is why the thing is being
design and what its benefiting.
4 Research is done to gain knowledge on
the subject of the design and to gain
inspiration for the initial ideas from
looking at similar designs.
5 Specification is the specific things that
the design must include to meet the
brief and relate with the client.
6 Possible solutions are the initial ideas to
solving the problem and these should be
explored thoroughly using different
techniques.
7 This is when you look over your initial
ideas and analyse them against the brief
and specifications to see if it would be
affective.
8 This is when you combine two or more
different aspects of a design to create a
single design which includes all the good
aspects of the designs.
9 The prototype is when you create a
mock up final design to help you see
how it will look and work to develop it.
10 This when you add or take away things
to develop and make your design better
fitted to the brief.
