Personal statement
I am a passionate and driven industrial designer,
currently in the final few weeks of my BA in
industrial design. I deploy practical testing and
experimentation to derive and generate innovative
and creative outcomes and am excited to take on
new challenges am enthusiastic about to prospect
of beginning a career in the creative industries.
I am particularly fasinated by the application of
robotics and automation of the manufacture of
products, and increasingly intrigued by the process
of each product, from paper to production.

I spent a week working for Coal face, a
North East digital agency, where I worked
on several small projects for websites
using Dreamweaver. Learning the basics
of writing code for websites and bringing
digital illustration concepts to life on
dreamweaver.

I currently work for Mole country stores in Alnwick.
Dealing with customers, both in person and over
the telephone, assisting the warehouse manager
in dealing with deliveries, and organising the
warehouse for maximum efficiency.
Waiter/bar staff at the Newcastle Hotel
(2009 - 2013)
I spent evenings and weekends working behind the
bar and serving food to customers at a local pub,
dealing with money and taking orders.
Having spent the majority of my life
in Northumberland, I have developed a
real appreciation for the natural beauty
of what surrounds us. I spend a lot of
my free time outdoors, whether hiking,
running, climbing and biking. I am also
a gym enthusiast and enjoy pushing
myself both mentally and physically.
