1. Inspiration- Get Hard
One of our main inspirations was the movie Get Hard, wewatched the trailer
of this movie and we thought of the idea that instead of someone that’s been
in prison helping someone who is going for the firsttime we decided to do a
theme that would makesense with our age demographic. We thought of the
idea that a kid needs help getting a girl, a typical comedy stylefilm story. I
think it worked well as we decided to set it in a schoolenvironment which
made more senseas we wereschoolstudents, this meant the characters fitted
well with the environment around them. The actors in this film, Kevin Hart and
Will Ferrell work extremely well together as they have similar comedic acting
skills and attributes. Their jokes and comedy style are mainly for the older
demographic but still have somejokes that kids can understand too, this
makes it an enjoyableexperience for the whole family’s everyonecan laugh
together and enjoy the legendary comedic duo of Kevin Hartand Will Ferrell.
We tried to replicate their styles and comedic responses, obviously wearenot
well known famous actors however as we both do drama together a lot of the
time in class we were able to work together comfortably and successfully and
try to implement someof our own comedy styled acting into our own movie
opening. This creates unique and never before seen enjoyablescenes for the
audience to watch.
