WHAT IS THE GLORY OF GOD?
EXODUS 33:18, 19
And he said, I beseech thee, show me thy
glory. And he said, I will make all my
goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim
the name of the LORD before thee; and will be
gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will
show mercy on whom I will show mercy.
3. EXODUS 34:6, 7
And the LORD passed by before him, and
proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful
and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in
goodness and truth, Keeping mercy for thousands,
forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that
will by no means clear [the guilty]; visiting the
iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon
the children's children, unto the third and to the
fourth [generation].
4. GLORIFY GOD: SALVATION AND
RADIANT LIGHT
PSALMS 85:9
Surely his salvation [is] nigh them that fear him; that
glory may dwell in our land.
EXODUS 34:29
And it came to pass, when Moses came down from
mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in
Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount,
that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone
while he talked with him.

The heavens declare the glory of God; And the

EXODUS 2:11, 12
And it came to pass in those days, when Moses was
grown, that he went out unto his brethren, and
looked on their burdens: and he spied an Egyptian
smiting an Hebrew, one of his brethren. And he
looked this way and that way, and when he saw that
[there was] no man, he slew the Egyptian, and hid
him in the sand.
7. JESUS GLORIFY GOD: HUMAN FLESH
JOHN 1:14, 18
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt
among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory
as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of
grace and truth. No man hath seen God at any
time; the only begotten Son, which is in the
bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

GLORIFY GOD?
2 CORINTHIANS 4:6
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of
darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to [give] the
light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the
face of Jesus Christ.
JOHN 2:11
This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of
Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his
disciples believed on him.
9. JESUS WILL GLORIFY GOD:
RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD
JOHN 11:4, 40 [LAZARUS]
When Jesus heard [that], he said, This sickness is
not unto death, but for the glory of God, that
the Son of God might be glorified thereby.
Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if
thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the
glory of God?
10. GLORIFY GOD: HOLY SPIRIT
ACTS 10:38
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy
Ghost and with power: who went about doing good,
and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for
God was with him.
JOHN 17:22
And the glory which thou gavest me I have given
them; that they may be one, even as we are one.
JOHN 12:23
And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is
come, that the Son of man should be glorified.
11. GLORIFY GOD: HOUR WAS NOT YET
COME
JOHN 8:20
These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he
taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on
him; for his hour was not yet come.
12. HOW SHOULD CHRISTIANS GLORIFY
GOD IN THEIR EVERY DAY LIVES?
ISAIAH 58:6-8
To loose the bands of wickedness
To alleviate heavy burdens
To be a voice for the oppressed ones
To break every yoke of bondage
To give bread to the hungry
To care for the poor
To clothe those who are naked
13. …Then shall thy light break forth as the
morning, and thine health shall spring forth
speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before
thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy
rereward.
14. GLORIFY GOD: PHYSICAL & SPIRITUAL
1 CORINTHIANS 6:19, 20
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of
the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of
God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought
with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and
in your spirit, which are God's.
1 CORINTHIANS 10:31
Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye
do, do all to the glory of God.
2 CORINTHIANS 3:18
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass
the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same
image from glory to glory, [even] as by the Spirit of
the Lord.
