summer??
We were obviously planning the launch of
Find Your Talent, but we also:
• Appointed a project manager
• Wrote a delivery plan
• Appointed Bold Creative to lead work on
the Tower Hamlets Find Your Talent
consultation

3. 1.Appointed a project manager
• James Stevens appointed following a
competitive recruitment process
• Key responsibilities of PM:
- set up robust delivery structures and project
management processes
- establish a process to monitor and evaluate
quality and measure progress against agreed
key performance indicators
- complete the audit and have oversight of the
consultation being ultimately accountable for any
FYT associated contracts or SLAs.

4. 2. Wrote a delivery plan
Key milestones for 07-08:
• Project team appointed and in post
• FYT launch successfully delivered
• Initial quot;big splashquot; consultation completed with
key outputs delivered (i.e report, documentary
and tag mapping children and young peoples'
views)
• parental engagement team delivered targeted
parent and family activities in support of
consultation
• Audit of current arts and cultural provision in the
borough completed

5. • FYT management structures agreed and put in
place
• Specialist work underway to determine ladders
of progression in all arts/cultural subject areas

7. The proposed role of the Cultural
stakeholder group
• The work of the stakeholder group will report
directly into the FYT project board.
• Very important to us that the group be made up
of representatives from all of our key cultural
partners
• The remit of the stakeholder group would be to:
- discuss the strategy and development of the
programme;
- determine quality criteria for arts and cultural
projects;
- look at delivery issues and solutions

- proposed that cultural partners chair
these meetings on a rotational, voluntary
basis
- Find Your Talent central team to undertake
secretariat responsibilities

consultation
• Based on the EOI, wrote a FYT
consultation brief and got written quotes
from the market
• Bold Creative successful and a key part of
their brief if working with and through you!

consultation might run and how you and
your respective organisations might be
involved……….
