1. History of the enterprise
• The company was founded in 1869 by Márk Pick
• 1883 - specialized to salami manufacturing
• 1906 - Jenő Pick came to be a co-proprietor
• During the first world war manufacturing was stopped
• Restarted the activities only in 1920
• 1927- got a trademark
• 1931- cartel-pact with Herz Budapest and Vidoni
Debrecen

• 1939 –started to produce salami in summer
• 1939-1946 average annual 3,000-4,000 tons
• 1948 - the government took the ownership
• 1960 - started new building operations
• 1992 - came to be a shareholder group
• 1997 the Ringa Company was purchased
• 2006 Délhús merged into Pick
• 2007 Szeged Salami became protected product
• 2008 A new representative office opened in Japan
• 2010 Herz brand has been acquired by Pick

Bonafarm Group
• Was established to clamp the true stories of the best Hungarian food
production from the growth to the fabrication
• The objective of the Bonafarm Group is to build on the cooperation
and development of the various member companies
• Two main activities:
• our agricultural companies produce the crop needed to feed our
livestock and the industrial crop for sale, as well as tending to our
farm animals
• our own raw materials are added to high-quality market
ingredients to produce tasty meat and dairy products as well as
wines
