Quote Process
• SP takes phone call from C and notes his/her request for 6 individual quotations batched
together;
• SP passes on the RFP to SM;
• SM passes on the RFP to SA for getting estimation done and notifies PM of the new enquiry;
• SA passes on the details to E1 and informs the SM;
• E1 completes the required calculations and passes on the docs to CE for costing and checking;
informs SA. SA informs the progress to SM;
• CE completes costing & checking and passes on the documents to SA;
• SA passes on the docs to SM; SM adds mark-up;
• SM asks SA to pass on the docs to MA; SA passes on the docs to MA for final check;
• MA adds O/Head costs and checks for profitability and passes the docs back to SA;
• SA passes on the docs to SM. SM checks to see if the quote is okay with market rates;
• SM calls SA and asks him to pass on the quotes to GM for approval;
• GM checks the quotes and approves (or makes changes) and passes the docs back to SA ;
• SA passes on the approved quotes to SM;
• SM discusses with SP and asks him to call the customer;
• SP calls the customer and lets him/her know that quotes are on the way and emails them.

SA informs the progress to SM; • CE completes costing & checking and passes on the documents to SA; • SA passes on the docs to SM; SM adds mark-up; • SM asks SA to pass on the docs to MA; SA passes on the docs to MA for final check; • MA adds O/Head costs and checks for profitability and passes the docs back to SA; • SA passes on the docs to SM. SM checks to see if the quote is okay with market rates; • SM calls SA and asks him to pass on the quotes to GM for approval; • GM checks the quotes and approves (or makes changes) and passes the docs back to SA ; • SA passes on the approved quotes to SM; • SM discusses with SP and asks him to call the customer; • SP calls the customer and lets him/her know that quotes are on the way and emails them.
