Technologies for adaptation to climate change in sub-Saharan Africa include: (1) rainwater harvesting techniques like contour ridges to slow water runoff and fill underground tanks, (2) community-led seed sharing and conservation through annual seed shows and community seed banks to increase availability of drought-resistant crops, and (3) low-cost and sustainable methods of tsetse fly control like traps made from local materials that are monitored regularly by community members.
